Study system French language department

Study System: -

The study system in the program is based on the credit hour system, and the credit hour is a unit of measurement to determine the weight of each course in one semester, and it is equivalent to one theoretical study hour per week.
(80) credit hours are taught in French out of a total of (136) credit hours, which are requirements for graduation.
Semester: -

The duration of study in the programs is 4 university years, with graduation permitted after three and a half years.
The study is organized on the basis of the semester system, so that the courses are distributed in each academic year over two semesters (the first in the fall and the second in the spring).
The minimum to obtain a bachelor's degree (8 semesters).
The minimum number of credit hours that a student registers for in any of the semesters is not less than 12 credit hours.
The maximum number of credit hours that a student registers for in any of the semesters does not exceed 21 credit hours.
The College Council may open an intensive summer semester of at least 8 weeks, including exams. Registration in the summer semester may be for a maximum of 6 credit hours.

For both:-

A- Students who failed in one or more courses.

B- Students who registered for courses less than the maximum number of courses registered in the first and second semesters.

Exams and grades:-

The student's final grades in each course consist of 20 grades, and are distributed as follows:-

15 grades for the final exam.
5 grades for the mid-term exam (research, activities or semester tests)
The student's final grade in the undergraduate stage is calculated based on the cumulative total of grades obtained in the four academic years.
The student may appeal and complain about his grades in any of the courses he studied based on his request and payment of the prescribed fees within two weeks of announcing the exam results. In the event of modifying the grade, the matter is presented to the program's board of directors and the college council for approval.
